About this trip

Explore the unknown and register for a once in a lifetime Wine and Food Tour of the Capetown area of South Africa from December 26th/2026 to January 4th/2027 (Celebrate New Year's Eve in Capetown and check it off your Bucket List).  We have built an all-inclusive tour to simplify all your planning needs.   This tour is ideally built for singles, couples or friend groups who love Wine, Food and History. It is also perfect for any traveler who may find traveling to South Africa intimidating or out of their comfort zone. There will be a focus on atmosphere,  top wineries, high end food and your safety, while soaking in the Capetown region.  This will be a 9-day fun-filled group program that runs over New Year's Eve, but everyone will also have the option to arrive early or extend their stay.  The tour includes everything you need so you don't have to worry about anything:  hotels, all ground transportation, winery tours and tastings, 3 dinners, 4 lunches,  breakfast every day, Local Guides with practical knowledge of the area and we even include the cost of entrance fees to certain sights (see itinerary and all tour inclusions below). PLEASE NOTE: We are only using one group hotel for the entirety of your stay. Too often, large tour groups are changing hotels every second day and we don't agree! So we have slowed the pace down to an enjoyable vacation speed. It's your holiday.

EARLY BOOKING BONUS: IF YOU BOOK BETWEEN DECEMBER 1ST/2025 AND DECEMBER 31ST/2025, YOU WILL RECEIVE A 150.00 PER PERSON DISCOUNT. PLEASE USE THE DISCOUNT CODE "EARLYBOOKINGBONUS" DURING THE REGISTRATION PROCESS.

Space is very limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

Offered by Victory Travel & Events Inc: TICO Registration # 50027548 and IATA Accreditation #67599884.

Wineries and More

One Winery listed below may not be used dependent on our final group size:

Klein Costantia: Dating back to 1685 and described as one of the world’s most beautiful wine estates, Klein Constantia is set amidst ancient trees on the upper foothills of the Constantiaberg, with views across False Bay. The perfect location for cool climate wines, Klein Constantia produces some of South Africa’s top wines, including one of the world’s best natural sweet wines,Vin de Constance.  From the 18th to 19th century, the wines of Constantia captivated the world, cherished by Napoleon, celebrated by Jane Austen, and served in royal courts across Europe.

Revived in 1990, Vin de Constance once again took its place among the world’s most revered wines. Today, Club 322 honours this enduring legacy, a private circle celebrating rarity, craftsmanship, and connection, named after the 322 barrels once registered on the estate.

Waterford Wine Estate: Waterford Estate, proudly owned by the Ord family since its establishment in 1998, derives its name from a blend of the family name and the waterfalls that grace our estate — WATERF + ORD — an idea lovingly conceived by daughter Ashleigh Ord. The estate seamlessly combines old-world charm with new-world innovation, paying homage to traditional winemaking methods learned from renowned regions while infusing pure passion into every bottle. Our winemaking philosophy is rooted in the ancient soils of Stellenbosch, allowing each varietal to express a unique sense of place. While Cabernet Sauvignon serves as a cornerstone of our production, we've also embraced other drought-resistant Mediterranean varietals, reflecting our commitment to diversity and the unique landscape of South Africa.

Kanonkop Wine Estate: Kanonkop is a 4th generation family-owned wine estate, which has been handed down from generation to generation and is now in the hands of brothers Paul and Johann Krige. The name Kanonkop is derived from a hillock (kop) on the Simonsberg mountain above the wine estate from where, during the 17th and 18th centuries, a cannon (kanon) was fired to announce the arrival of sailing ships entering Table Bay. The roar of the cannon would be the signal to local farmers, who were waiting to make the 50-kilometer journey to the harbour, to load up their wagons with fresh fruit and vegetables to barter their produce.

The first wines bearing the Kanonkop label were produced in 1973. To wine lovers familiar with the centuries old châteaux and domaines of Bordeaux and Burgundy respectively, the winemaking history of our estate may seem surprisingly young. For 1973 was the year in which Kanonkop’s contention for a place in the annals of South African wine greatness began, just three years before the death of the man to whom the wine estate owes everything it has achieved and all the recognition it has attained: Paul Sauer.

Cape Point Vineyards: Cape Point is a family-owned, award-winning wine estate located in the picturesque coastal suburb of Noordhoek, on the Cape Peninsula. It holds the rare distinction of being the only vineyard in this region, nestled between mountain slopes, indigenous fynbos, and the Atlantic Ocean. Giving you one of the best views in Cape Town. Established in 2000, the estate has become renowned for its exceptional Sauvignon Blanc, along with elegant expressions of Sémillon, Chardonnay, and a selection of red blends and rarer varietals such as Sauvignon Gris. The unique coastal climate, with cool Atlantic breezes and southeasterly winds from False Bay, allows for slow grape ripening, resulting in wines of remarkable complexity and character. Beyond its acclaimed wines, Cape Point Vineyards offers a refined visitor experience that blends natural beauty with warm hospitality. Guests can enjoy a relaxed picnic on the lawns overlooking the ocean, intimate wine tastings, and bespoke events in scenic venues across the estate.

Oldenburg Vineyards: Oldenburg Vineyards is nestled in an elevated valley of outstanding beauty, embraced by a spectacular mountain amphitheatre. At the heart of our vineyards lies Rondekop—our iconic, round hill. Over several generations of vineyards, we have translated the secrets and mysteries of this extraordinary Place, crafting exceptional wines. We invite you to immerse yourself in the tranquillity and beauty of our vineyards through a visit to The Tasting Room, where you can experience the unique flavours and aromas of our exceptional wines firsthand. You will find us 8 kilometres from Stellenbosch, on the road to Franschhoek. Off the beaten track, a winding road leads deep into the Banghoek Valley. Our unique location benefits from the confluence of 8 Natural Elements, creating a distinctive terroir and allowing us to make wines that truly reflect their Place.

Haute Cabriere: Founded on the values of family, community and sharing, the von Arnim family of Haute Cabrière has been artfully harnessing the unique terroir (sun, soil and vine conditions) of the Franschhoek Valley since the property was bought in 1982. Our farm was established in the Franschhoek Valley in 1694 by French Huguenot, Pierre Jourdan. Custom in the Champagne Valley of France dictates that champagne created from the vines of the land is named after the landowner. True to this tradition, founder of Haute Cabrière, Achim von Arnim, named the first range of exceptional Cap Classique wines Pierre Jourdan after the original landowner. This range remains the perfect ode to the original owner in South Africa’s ‘French Corner’, Franschhoek. Our portfolio has since grown to include two more beloved wine ranges, Haute Cabrière, housing the iconic Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and our Haute Collection, our maverick collection of site-specific wines. With roots that extend deep into not only the soils but also the community of Franschhoek, we hope to grow the legacy of Pierre Jourdan in all that we do and be a winery of which our community and valley are exceptionally proud.

Boschendal: Boschendal (Dutch for bush and dale) is one of the oldest Wine Estates in South
Africa and is located between Franschhoek and Stellenbosch in South Africa’s Western Cape. This iconic wine farm is nestled in one of the most picturesque valleys in the Cape Winelands. With a winemaking tradition spanning over 340 years, Boschendal Wine Estate offers a veritable treat for wine lovers everywhere. At Boschendal we believe wine is made in the vineyards. We take the utmost care to find specific terroir-driven sites best suited for our cultivars. We have made it our priority to embrace sustainability techniques across both our farm and cellar practices in order to retain the country’s exceptional biodiversity and to empower the teams that work within it.
